TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Order Processing

  • Lead times for standard products are typically 5-10 business days. Custom tooling or blanks may require additional time depending on design and material availability.

  • Customers will be notified of estimated dispatch dates at the time of order confirmation.

  • AOG ordering is available upon request (Additional costs apply)

2. Pricing & Payment

  • Payment is required upfront before commencement of production, unless alternative terms have been negotiated and agreed in writing. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Deposit Requirements: For new customers or orders exceeding $10,000 AUD, we reserve the right to require a deposit of 50% of the total order value before commencing production. The balance is payable prior to dispatch or collection.

  • Payment Methods:

    • We accept payment by:

      • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to our nominated bank account

      • Credit card (surcharge may apply)

      • PayPal

      • Cash (AUD Only)

  • Late Payment: Overdue accounts may incur interest charges at a rate of 2% per month (or part thereof) on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend further orders and deliveries until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.​
     

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship Australia-wide and internationally upon request.

  • Freight is calculated at checkout or quoted separately.

  • Title and risk of goods pass to the customer upon shipment.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs.

4. Returns & Exchanges

  • If an item is defective or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of receipt with supporting photos.

  • Approved returns must be authorized in writing. Return freight is the responsibility of the customer unless the error is ours.

  • Custom-made tooling or blanks are not returnable unless faulty.

  • Defective or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of receipt with supporting photos.

5. Warranty

  • Our products are covered by a 24 month warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • 3rd Party Products sourced by Precision Blanks, refer to OEM warranty terms and conditions.  

  • Warranty does not cover misuse, wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Claims must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and evidence of faults.

  • Warranty does not cover items sold as “Used” or “Pre-owned”.

6. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of order confirmation.

  • Orders for custom protective blanks or tooling cannot be cancelled once production has started.

7. Product Use & Compliance

  • Our products are designed for specific applications. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure proper installation, use, and compatibility.

  • We assume no liability for damage or injury resulting from improper use or modification.

  • Unless stated otherwise, avoid exposing products to extreme temperatures, humidity, chemical exposure, and UV radiation. This may affect component performance and must be considered before use.

  • Components must be used only for their specifically designed and documented purpose.

  • Products produced by Precision Blanks Pty Ltd are not intended for use during Aircraft flight or operations. 

  • Users are responsible for;

    • Proper inspection and quality verification before installation.

    • Conducting appropriate testing and analysis for the intended application and ensuring compatibility with existing systems and components.

    • While Precision blanks will assist customers where possible, Users are responsible for obtaining necessary certifications and approvals from relevant authorities (CASA, DASR, FAA, EASA Etc) if required.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, drawings, and technical data provided and produced by Precision Blanks Pty Ltd remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Reproduction or redistribution is prohibited without express consent from Precision Blanks Pty Ltd.

9.  Tooling, Covers or blanks produced using Aircraft OEM Designs

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Precision Blanks Pty Ltd offers a range of products based on the designs provided by Aircraft OEMs outlined within approved maintenance documentation. 

  • By purchasing these products, you agree to engage Precision Blanks Pty Ltd to manufacture these products on behalf of your maintenance organisation as per the relevant OEM Designs, drawings and specifications.

  • Precision Blanks Pty Ltd makes no claims to the intellectual property rights for items.

  • Precision Blanks is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our products.

  • Our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of defective products.

11. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy. Customer information is used strictly for order processing and internal record-keeping.

  • We do not share your data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
